Online Dating is a way to help people who are not attached to find their other half with the help of New-Media. Using New-Media, this online dating program lets people to meet not only from their own country, but also people from all over the world. To name a few of these online dating websites, the first in my mind would be http://www.speeddate.com/. Another one would be http://www.singaporedatingonline.com/index.html. In short, no matter what sort of people you are, as long as u have internet access, you could have a chance to meet that someone you never dream of meeting. This is finding your true love rather than sitting pondering and waiting.

Sweet it may seem, but are all these stuffs real? I have a lot of question regarding this. Can you really find love based on just clicking and typing in the computers? What would you do if you found out that you are being conned or cheated? Through the computers, can you see through the person facial expression and the thoughts? Like what are they planning and have u people ever wonder what are the effects or rather will there be any problems arising? After all, to be more exact, you are just chatting with strangers, total stranger whom you have not met or seen before. How are you to know that people that you are talking do not have any motive behind all this? What makes the other party trust them so much? In Singapore, I am sure that there are many such cases of people which other motives leads to incidents like fraud and rape.

Over the past few years, most victims are mostly women. Guys would turn out to be nice and approach women randomly online, after a few conversation with the girl gathering sufficient trust in him, they would then exchange no and discussing a chance to meet. Throughout the meeting, those incidents that I mentioned above will generally occur. Though cases of these are fewer now, but I am sure there is no harm in reminding people who often go for such programs to know the precaution in meeting or rather chatting with a stranger. If you think the ratio of victims are women are higher and that it’s alright for guys to freely use it, think twice. Guys are not safe too. I would like to share with you people one news that happen one year ago and it’s about a woman cheating a guy 45,000 bucks. The news stated that they met in an online chat room. The woman promised to marry him and began asking more money from that guy. To read more of this news, u can go to http://www.reuters.com/article/oddlyEnoughNews/idUSSIN3861520070320

I am not objecting dating online. My overall conclusion is that you yourself should have the necessary precautions upon everyone you see online or people that approaches you online. In this virtual world, no one in the world is safe and everyone should have a guard against each other. It’s always no harm to play safe.
